New x rays. Pretty happy with the consolidation. 5.5cm after lengthening, almost 6 months to the day from surgery.

Problems to report are very, very slight duck ass and maybe a hair of ballerina in my right foot. But I’ve been walking almost painkiller free, 1 tablet of ketanol. My frames will be off in 2 months apparently. A bit sad about it but it’s all good.

One question drew upon me just now.How did he work out how much you could lengthen?
Did he make this conclusion by X-ray or something else?

He didn’t, he allowed me to lengthen as much as I want. But I was happy with 5.5.

The pain was too much to keep lengthening for me, so I stopped.

Everyone doing limb lengthening has the option to lengthen as much of as little as they want. How is this different?

To Jcayabo:

From what I can see, your x-rays look very good to me.  Congratulations!

Thanks, callous buildup is still not as great on the right leg, but it's close.

If your last x-rays are 6 months out from your initial surgery; then, our initial surgeries were at about the same time (mine was September 20, 2018).

I distracted quite a bit more than you (9 cm vs 5.5 cm).  I have another x-ray next week but I don't yet expect to have close to the amount of cortical bone you grew over the same period.

When (what date) did you stop distracting?
