A couple years ago I was in Nicaragua visiting my dad's side of the family (I honestly think my Nicaraguan genetics is what caused my shortness, 5'7) I met a really cute girl and we had an amazing fling together. Look at this height difference, she is a perfectly normal average 5'2 girl in Nicaragua and yet I, with a 5 inch gain over her, look actually relatively tall. She had no problem with my height whatsoever!!
The reason I'm telling you all this is because I've noticed many of you shorter guys getting super discouraged with your starting height and thinking that you must reach at least 5'9/5'10 or even higher in order to have a chance with girls. I totally disagree and think that once you hit a height like 5'7 or 5'8, yeah you'll be shorter than the average white guy in say the US, but you'll still be way taller than short girls and still taller than the average girl, and maybe even tieing the taller girls who may not mind you being the same height as they are. Just food for thought and I hope this encourages you that if your starting height is 5'3/5'4 for example and you managed to get to 5'7, dang I can tell you for sure you'd notice an improvement! Obviously average heights like 5'9/5'10 in most western countries would be more imposing of heights, but that's not to say that your height at 5'7/5'8 would be insufficient to get a girl interested. One of my best friends has got to be only 5'5, if that, and he gets TONS of girls.... He is usually going after short latinas and they love his personality and charm

For you very short guys, even if you hit 5'7 or 5'8 you'll be fine
I agree man. I can obviously see how being 6ft would be a perfect height for those of us not fortunate enough to start out at 5'6 or 5'7 it's simply impossible, and that's not such a terrible thing. My dream height is 5'8 with boots or insoles I'll be standing comfortably at 5'9 it's not perfect but three inches isnt a ridiculous difference. I can't say that at that height I could see a 6ft dude coming up to me and commenting on my height as if I were a foot under him you know? I wish guys my height 5'3 would the see advantages in reaching an average height instead of focusing on the statistics

Yeah at 5'8 I'm pretty sure you'd be so happy! You could even throw out the lifts and just wear boots for that final added boost. The truth is though, to woman and other people the lengthened legs will make you appear taller than 5'8. Also, since people's eyes are 4.5 inches down from the top of their head, you at 5'8/5'9 would really not seem significantly shorter through the eyes of 6 footer, only with a mirror nearby is the difference more obvious. I've stood next to plenty of people that I thought were taller than me or the same height to find out I was actually an inch or two taller than them! Once you are average height, I think muscles, posture, body language etc portray to others whether you're strong/alpha or if you can be easily pushed around.

You might not be completely without hope of reaching 6'0 someday. There are some amazing advances being made in stem cell research, and scientists in Russia have already grown longer legs in sheep by injecting stem cells around the joints (in a specific area; I can't remember what is it called). They are getting close to releasing the drug for human trials. In the next ten years, ll might not even be needed anymore.
I seriously think i would vent by killing someone if after 2 LL surgeries some phaggy russian dude with glasses comes out with this stem cell bs.
And these 12 year old cky spolied brat kids will get it as christmas present. geez thanks mom now i can grow to 6'2 not deserving it yaayy.

RedRothbard- I know man I am really excited for that! Hope in the next 10 to 15yrs it'll be possible. Making my torso three to four inches longer would make me proportionate and tip over towards 6ft. I know this all sounds insane but in few years I think it could def be possible. Hell in today's world we're giving limbs transplants to amputees, women uterus transplants, and even growing penises lol. All I wish is to still be young enough to benefit from it when it does, I'm only 20 so I've got faith in that.

Not really... You are talking about the guys who are doing LL for women. I'm definitely not doing it for women, I'm only doing it for myself and if I become 5'7" and want another LL surgery it is up to me. Why would I do LL for women anyway? A short guy can still get a girlfriend, you even mentioned your friend, proof there... You want to expand the chances of getting a girlfriend? Meh, that is not an issue with me anyway. I guess each person is different.
