Hello. I have a YouTube channel which should be helpful to you. On March 18, 2021, I had leg lengthening surgery in the femurs using the Precice 2.2 nails. Dr Assayag is my doctor and surgeon.

I was writing my diary on a blog, but I am not updating it (though it will stay up as an archive):
https://heightjourney.wordpress.com

I am 8 months past surgery and 5 months into consolidation. Please refer to my YouTube channel for updates on my leg lengthening journey and for future helpful videos.

I won't be posting the URL to every video of mine on this forum (which is a violation of forum policy), but you can subscribe to my YouTube channel to keep updated. I'll also help out with this forum by helping answering the numerous questions and concerns about leg lengthening surgery. This is from an actual leg lengthening patient who went through all this and had all the same questions and concerns you do.

Here is a sample of my physical therapy routine on November 17.
8 months after surgery
5.2 months into consolidation
2 months walking independently

You want assurance that recovery of physical abilities can be achieved after leg lengthening surgery, especially by video since it is more verifiable. here it is.

Two new videos are recently published.

Financing and Budgeting for Leg Lengthening Surgery

Part 1:
https://youtu.be/WTlydA4nDx0

Part 2:
https://youtu.be/z0mWaiEpwM4

I plan to post diary video updates here, but these videos are both part of my diary because it describes my financing and budgeting during my stay in Baltimore and will help you with your financing and budgeting for your leg lengthening surgery.

Part 2 has details on what leg lengthening surgery and necessary essentials (like PT, equipment, housing, etc...) really costs (from a LL patient who already went through it) and how to save money. You should watch part 1 first, because they are relevant. Better yet, just subscribe to my YouTube channel and keep updated on all videos that come out.

This is great but can you disclose financial information benefits you get from the doctor? This would give even more added value, by means of transparence, to your channel and thread/posts. Dr. Assayag is one of the top ones in the world,  one of my choices if I could afford, maybe. It's an honest question.

I received no financial benefits or discounts from Dr Assayag for my blog or YouTube channel.

During your stay at the Hackerman-Patz house, how was the internet?

They had WiFi. It was a little on the slow side, but sufficient for my work via VPN. Residents have been consistently been requesting to upgrade the WiFi and I think there is a good chance that they did so by now.
